Mazda North American Operations is headquartered in Irvine, Calif. and oversees the sales, marketing, parts and customer service support of Mazda vehicles in the United States and Mexico through approximately 620 dealers. Operations in Mexico are managed by Mazda Motor de Mexico in Mexico City.

Mazda is committed to developing and introducing technology to significantly reduce GHG emissions in our new vehicles, all the while ensuring that Mazdas are always engaging to drive. We believe the best approach to achieve real-world GHG reductions is to develop technology that can be applied across our product line-up and made available to all of our customers at an affordable cost.

To that end, Mazda’s SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY includes new high-compression gasolines, new six-speed automatic and manual transmissions with improved efficiencies over previous designs, and newly-designed vehicle chassis and suspension components focused on improving performance and reducing weight.
